Luxury Hair Extensions in Destin

Seamless, undetectable, and entirely your own. Custom-blended extensions by the Emerald Coast’s only Balmain-certified atelier.

The Standard

Extensions so natural, no one will know — except you

At Studio Beige, hair extensions are an art form, not an add-on. As Destin’s only Balmain Hair Couture certified salon — and a Great Lengths and Kacey Welch Master Certified atelier — founder Tania Crawford and our team place every strand to vanish into your own hair.

The result is length, density, and dimension that moves, shines, and feels like it grew there. This is the extension work affluent women across the Emerald Coast drive hours for.

Tania’s Guide

How to choose your extension method

The right method comes down to your lifestyle, hair density, budget, and how much time you want to spend in the salon each month. The number-one mistake clients make is choosing a method by popularity — because a friend has it — when it isn’t suited to their hair. Tania selects, and sometimes blends, the right method for each individual.

Hand-Tied Wefts

Feather-light, ultra-natural rows for fullness and length with comfort and minimal tension.

Best for: natural fullness. Maintenance: move-up every 6–8 weeks (1–2 hrs).

Tape-Ins

Discreet, quick to apply and reusable — a flawless choice for seamless volume.

Best for: quick installs, special occasions, fragile hair. Maintenance: ~every 6 weeks (2–3 hrs).

Keratin & Fusion Bonds

Individually bonded strands, including Tania’s custom Russian micro-bonds — the most undetectable finish.

Best for: hair worn up, travel, water sports. Wear time: 4–6 months, no routine upkeep.

Hybrid & Custom

Two methods blended to fill in seamlessly — and keratin bonds to restore shorter pieces on top.

Best for: breakage, short pieces, or hair loss.

“The right method is the one that fits your life — your density, your time, and how you love to wear your hair.”

Questions

Hair extensions in Destin, answered

How much do hair extensions cost in Destin?

Every set is custom, so pricing is set during a complimentary consultation based on your length, density, method, and the amount of hair required. Luxury extensions are a premium investment — we quote transparently before anything is booked.

What types of extensions do you offer?

Hand-tied wefts, tape-ins, and keratin/fusion bonds — including Balmain Hair Couture and Great Lengths. Tania also custom-creates tiny Russian bonds for the most seamless, undetectable results.

Will extensions damage my natural hair?

Placed and maintained by a certified master stylist, extensions are gentle on your hair. We use ethically sourced hair and proven, hair-healthy methods, with maintenance to protect your hair long term.

How long do they last?

With proper care the hair itself lasts 9–12+ months. Maintenance (re-tightening or re-application) is typically every 6–10 weeks depending on method and growth.

How often do extensions need maintenance?

It depends on the method: hand-tied wefts move up every 6–8 weeks (a 1–2 hour appointment); tape-ins about every 6 weeks (a 2–3 hour appointment to remove, re-tape and reinstall); keratin/fusion bonds are worn 4–6 months with no routine maintenance — just an occasional check-up.

What’s the most common mistake when choosing extensions?

Choosing a method based on popularity or what a friend has — rather than what suits your hair, density, and lifestyle. The right method is custom to you; for breakage or hair loss it’s sometimes a hybrid of two methods, or keratin bonds to restore shorter pieces on top.

Which method is best if I travel or am very active?

If you travel often, have a busy schedule, or do water sports, keratin/fusion bonds are usually the best fit — they’re the most discreet and need no routine maintenance, whereas wefts and tapes require regular move-ups.

What should I ask at my extension consultation?

Great questions to bring: How much will my maintenance services cost? Which method works best for my lifestyle and the activities I do outside of work? How often, realistically, will I need maintenance appointments? How much time do I have to get ready in the morning, and how much at-home care (brushing, styling) can I commit to? Tania uses your answers to design the right method for you.

Do you serve clients beyond Destin?

Yes — clients come to us from Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Santa Rosa Beach, 30A, Niceville, and across the Emerald Coast. We’re at 36468 Emerald Coast Pkwy STE 6102, Destin.
