It opens bright, with a lift of red mandarin that reads like the first bar of a song before the room settles. Then it deepens fast. The heart is where Jazz earns its name — mahogany, honey, and tobacco folding into each other, rich and lived-in without ever turning heavy. Underneath, bourbon vanilla and cacao pour on the sweetness, while opoponax and a whisper of white musk keep it smooth against warm skin. On most people it wears close and lasts through dinner and well past it.

Because it’s an extrait — the most concentrated way to wear a fragrance — a little goes a long way, and the trail it leaves is intimate rather than loud.
