Some scents you notice. This one you keep leaning back toward. Celestial Object is LIIS at its most quietly magnetic, built on the idea that we’re all made of the same stuff as the stars, and it wears like a soft, glowing haze that lives close to the skin.

It opens bright and a little unexpected, with juicy quince lit up by a flicker of pink pepper. Underneath, almond and rice paper give it that warm, powdery, almost cashmere-soft feeling that makes people ask what you’re wearing. A thread of hushed incense drifts through the middle, and then tonka bean and labdanum settle in for the long haul, rich and low like a night sky. It’s genderless by design, so it sits just as beautifully on anyone who picks it up.

LIIS was founded by Leslie and Alissa and blended in collaboration with master perfumer Jerome Epinette, made in California with organic sugarcane alcohol. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without dyes, phthalates, or sulfates, which matters when a scent is going to live on your skin all day.

Why we keep it on the shelf

This is one of the fragrances our extension clients reach for after a color or install, when the hair looks incredible and they want the finishing touch to match. It’s the rare 50ml bottle that feels like a keepsake, and it layers quietly with your everyday routine instead of shouting over it. A slim, striking bottle that earns a spot on the vanity.

How to Use

Spritz once or twice onto pulse points, the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind the ears, on clean, moisturized skin. Let it settle rather than rubbing it in, so the top notes bloom the way they’re meant to. A light mist into the air to walk through works beautifully for the softest finish.
