Some hair days need lift, not product. Desert Dry is O&M’s answer to flat, freshly-washed strands and second-day roots that have gone a little quiet: a fine, dry mist that dusts through the hair and leaves behind grit, body and that lived-in, undone texture you usually only get after a beach afternoon. It is the finishing spray our stylists reach for behind the chair when a blow-out needs a little more attitude, or when fine hair needs something to hold onto.

The clever part is that it does two jobs at once. A blend of potato and mineral starches quietly absorbs excess oil and buffs away shine, so roots look freshly styled well into day two, while a flexible film gives you soft, brushable hold that never crunches or flakes. Underneath it all sit two Australian botanicals O&M is known for: Lilly Pilly, naturally rich in vitamin C to help plump each strand, and Quandong, a desert fruit that brings vitamins, proteins and essential fatty acids to keep hair feeling looked-after rather than parched.

It is vegan, cruelty-free and made without sulphates, parabens or phthalates, and it plays nicely with coloured hair. Fine, flat, or simply craving more texture, this is the mist that gives you volume you can run your fingers through.

How to Use

Shake the can well. Holding it about 30cm from dry hair, mist through the mid-lengths and roots, then break the texture up with your fingers or a brush. Build in light layers for more grip and lift.
